From the 2021 Golf Tournament
With a manual wheelchair, I will be able to access all areas of my home independently. I will be able to eat in the kitchen with my family. My wife is unable to carry my current wheelchair up and down the stairs; therefore, I spend most of my time on the second level of my home. This equipment will allow me to spend more time with my family, increase my independence within my home, and allow me to get out of the house for appointments and social events.

I would like to thank you and your family for the Driving Fore a Cure golf tournament and the vision you had in creating an event that would make a difference. Not just a fundraiser that adds to the giant pool for research, but that is there to support people with their daily challenges. This is why Driving Fore a Cure is so special.
I am very fortunate to have benefited from the Driving Fore a Cure tournament, with the assistance in purchasing a wheelchair. This is greatly appreciated and will make a huge impact on my quality of life. The increase in my mobility will lower the stress on myself and my loved ones. The deck has enough room that I can put a chair out and enjoy the summer sunshine. That, in itself, will help both of us. It is a relief to be able to get out of the house safely.
